SAN JOSÉ MINE
The quartz extraction mine is located in the district of Suçuarana, located in the municipality of Tanhaçu, state of Bahia. It has a privileged location, as it is only 345km from the Port of Ilhéus, a place where ships with a capacity of up to 40,000 tons dock, having a current draft of 9 meters and which may soon reach 11 meters. As for the loading board, we can consider an operating volume of 8,000 tons per day.
Another important factor in the logistics of the close relationship between the Animal and the Brumado (50 km). That said, we are the only 55km from the rail VLI.
With the proposed development to increase the mining sector in the state of Bahia, the implementation of the FIOL rail system (West East Integration Railway) also benefits us, as we are only 15 km from the railroad, with the possibility of being claimed in the future. together with the state and concessionaires, the construction of a triangular junction to serve us with the disposal of our material.
